Welcome Words by Wendy: Ready to go Forward

by Wendy Edie
eCom's Managing Director

Everything is cyclical and some things come round quicker than others.

Which is why we are now looking at a further 3 weeks of lockdown in Scotland, in the hope that this virus does not come back.

In week 4 of lockdown, there was a need for comfort and connection, boosting health and wellbeing, personally and professionally.  This has now cycled around again with an even bigger need for us all to look after ourselves and each other.

6 out of 10 HR Leaders are concerned about team burnout

Work balance

I am seeing a culture of ‘e-presenteeism’ across the business community.  That is not the #eComWay and my priority is to provide a good work balance so our team is there when you need them as the economy moves forward in the coming weeks.

Hopefully, the trending purchases of yoga mats and protein shakes tell a wider story that is backed up by the many requests coming in from clients for well-being related online training.  Of which we have loads!  Get in touch to find out more.

Health is important

Whether your team is at work or on furlough, preparing to return to the working environment, or committed to working from home, there is an expectation as a trusted employer to focus on health.

I believe that health and wellbeing are as fundamental as GDP as we get the economy moving again.

We are here to help!

That is why we have FREE elearning resources targeting topical areas for you to support ALL your team:

  • Emergency preparedness and safety
  • Customer service and selling essentials
  • Management and leadership development
  • Personal productivity and effective communication
  • Remote working and management
  • Anxiety and stress resilience
  • COVID-19 prevention

Whether you are a smaller organisation (<50 people) or larger, my team have a solution that will suit you.  Get in touch today!
