eCom Scotland have a unique understanding of the public, education and charities sector and specialise in providing web solutions in these environments.

A fully independent business supported by private and institutional financing following a MBO in 2001 by the current management, the company was originally set-up by Lauder Society with European funding.  Hence education has been a focus for the company and has grown with the concept since 1996.

These origins mean eCom Scotland understands educational terms, concepts and often crucially how people learn.  We use our knowledge of learning design to create more effective websites.  Websites are about customer self service, and as we use learning principles as a model when we design websites, our clients get the results they are looking for.  There is a very close affiliation between promotion, selling and learning.
