Scottish Water is the public body responsible for water supplies and waste water across Scotland, requiring thousands of staff in a wide range of disciplines working at many geographically diverse locations. Scottish Water needed to provide continuous on-site training and assessment for their staff to ensure the efficient operation of all sites, and to comply with new statutory regulations.
In response to these requirements, Scottish Water brought in eCom Scotland in 2008 to implement an enterprise-wide skills management system, including full eAssessment capability using the powerful eNetAssess™ assessment engine. Through further tendering in 2011 eCom also integrated eNetLearn™ and eNet360™ to create a fully rounded and business critical system.
eCom continues to work with Scottish Water on incremental improvements that support their business requirements, with user numbers currently at 3500+.
Scottish Water received many accolades in 2012, for example Work Place of the Year. This award was for a broad range of activities including training and development, which encompassed the eNetEnterprise™ platform solution.
